In 2002 David established The Hayley Lewis Swim School Westfield Carindale QLD with Australian Olympic and World Champion swimmer Hayley Lewis

David trained Sasisiri (Bujji) Boonlom through qualifying to compete in Thailand Age Group Swimming Championships in 2020, 2021, and 2022 where she achieved Top 8 performances as a National Finalist in Girls 12-13 Years 50m and 100m Breastroke Thailand
